D3 doesn't seem as promising as it sounds, I mean I've heard of it for 1,5-2 years now that D3 was going to come, but I've seen no screenshots or trailers for it duh -.-

Guild Wars 2, unless Diablo 3 has some massive improvements over the second game, I found the endless grinding and dungeon crawling to be really quite dull. I also can't imagine Blizzard releasing a game that could possibly hurt the popularlity of WoW, so I don't really see it being at all similar to an MMO.

I'll get both of them, big fan of Diablo II and I've played Guild Wars for over 2000 hours, why wouldn't I buy the next part

What do they care if it hurts WoW? They'll gain EXTRA customers, plus retain ones that move from WoW to D3. That's more than a win/win. Money is money, doesn't matter if it's coming from WoW or D3 or SC2.

Eh, do I HAVE to choose? Diablo 2 was the game that got me hooked to RPGs. GW was the game that got me addicted to MMORPGs. Like Kula said, it is like chosing between 2 types of ice cream (both chocolaty

i really like the look of aion. ill probably end up playing that when its released. i might get gw2 as well, if i do ill have to decide quite quickly as i want to be involved from the beginning unlike gw now where i joined when factions came out.

I played D2, and liked it at the time, but I've grown to sort of distrust Blizzard after they made WoW. So I'll most likely be sticking with GW2. Frankly, I'd rather support Anet than the Walmart of the MMO industry. And GW2 is guaranteed to be free, ya know?

I don't know how much Blizzard can be trusted to release games in a reasonable amout of time. Anyone remember waiting for Starcraft: Ghost? I doubt I would play Diablo 3, if only because I never really got into any of the Diablo games. GW2 will probably come out a year or two (or more) earlier though.

D3 hasn't been announced yet, it is nothing more than a rumor at this point. Diablo 2 is probably the best PC RPG I have ever played, it is just too dated nowadays though.

GW2 seems like a WoW clone at this point. I will definitely pick it up, possibly on release. I played WoW for a while, didn't like it, so I may not like GW2, especially if they screw up PvP as bad as they did with GW1.

If Diablo 3 is pay to play, the chances of me buying it drop dramatically.
